Over time, computers can pick up clutter that can cause their performance to degrade. Hard drives can also undergo defragmentation, which can slow down your computer. What do you do to help keep your computer running at peak performance levels?

Would issues about Facebook's privacy policy make you quit Facebook?

Popular social networking site Facebook has been facing criticism for its privacy policies and despite making some changes, many privacy advocates say it's not enough. Primary critics have even created a QuitFacebookDay.com site where it asks, "If you agree that Facebook doesn't respect you, your personal data or the future of the the Web" then you may want to join in quitting Facebook on May 31 which they have declared as the offiical "Quit Facebook Day".<br>

What’s better – a notebook or a netbook?

Netbooks are devices designed purposely for the Internet, to communicate, learn, and view information. Notebooks are more multiple-purpose computers in a form factor of about ten inches and up. Notebooks can create content and handle heavy multi-tasking loads with many applications running at once.

Notebooks, like Netbooks, are portable, but some are becoming increasingly less so (the 17-inchers) some more so (the ultra-thins), and users of notebooks tend to pack them away in bags with all sorts of accessories before moving anywhere beyond the office or home. Although a few notebooks are able to connect to the Internet via cellular networks as well as Wi-Fi, being “locked” to a carrier is not widely considered an advantage. Thus notebook users often invest in wireless modems that are external.

Has your life gotten simpler or more complex since you started using the Internet?

Do you even remember life before the Internet? Now that you are potentially always available, always plugged in do you think your life is easier or do you feel your life has gotten more complicated? Please explain.

My computer won’t connect to some websites?

Hi, I’m have a MacBook Air and use Safari. When I try to go on to some websites (only example I can think of is cracked.com) it doesn’t work. It displays this message:
Safari can’t open the page http://www.cracked.com/ because Safari can’t connect to the server www.cracked.com

I’ve tried other browsers but no dice. Any suggestions?
